Day 9
My oldest child plays flute. She is really missing band right now. She was set to get her first solo during their spring performance.
We've spent the better part of the morning watching symphony performances on YouTube. I'm sharing her favorite. Ode to Joy was one of the songs her school band was working on for their spring performance.
In related news, she's now wondering what it would take to switch to a bassoon. I told her she would have to give up her allowance for the next 15 years.
